Marvel® FlowGuard™ pipes are made from a specialty plastic known chemically as chlorinated poly vinyl chloride (CPVC). This CPVC compound meets cell class 23447 B as defined by ASTM D 1784 and has a design stress of 2000 PSI and a maximum service temperature up to 93°C.
FlowGuardTM pipes & fittings utilize solvent cemented joints, proven with over 50 years of successful CPVC service history, and are available from 15mm (1/2″) to 50mm (2″) in SDR 11 & SDR 13.5 and produced as per ASTM D 2846 (Copper Tube Size pipes and fittings).
